We obtain unclaimed property data from the Georgia Department of Revenue. This is publicly available information that includes property holder names, property types, approximate values, and last known addresses. Data obtained from the Department of Revenue is used solely for identifying and filing claims on behalf of the rightful owner, as permitted under O.C.G.A. §44-12-225.

Chat Conversations

When you use our chat support feature, your messages are processed by Anthropic’s AI system to provide assistance. Chat transcripts may be retained for quality assurance and to improve our services. Do not share sensitive information such as Social Security Numbers through the chat feature.

Automatically Collected Information

  • Resend — email delivery for filing kits, notifications, and correspondence.
  • Anthropic — AI-powered chat support and claim review. Chat messages and claim details (name, email, property information) may be processed by Anthropic’s AI systems. SSN data is never sent to AI services.
  • Lob — direct mail printing and delivery for physical correspondence.
  All service providers are subject to confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.

4. Data Security

Sensitive Information (SSN)

When a Social Security Number is required for claim filing (such as for property purchase agreements under O.C.G.A. §44-12-236), we collect it via an encrypted form field. SSN data is transmitted exclusively over encrypted (TLS) connections, stored as one-way cryptographic hashes, and is never displayed in plaintext after submission. SSN data is retained only as long as necessary to process your claim and is then securely deleted.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Claim-related records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years after claim completion.
