A Claimant Designated Representative (CDR) is a private party that the Georgia Department of Revenue has vetted and authorized to help property owners recover unclaimed property. We’re not the state — we’re a registered private service operating under the state’s rulebook.

is registered with the Georgia Department of Revenue as a Claimant Designated Representative, authorized to assist property owners in the recovery of unclaimed property pursuant to O.C.G.A. §44-12-236.
Reclaim Georgia LLC is a private business registered to operate as a CDR in the State of Georgia. Not a government entity. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Georgia Department of Revenue.
Under Georgia’s Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act (O.C.G.A. §44-12-200 et seq.), a private party who wants to help others recover unclaimed property has to register with the Department of Revenue as a Claimant Designated Representative.
Registration requires a background check, a review of the business entity, and a commitment to use the state’s standard forms (UP-CDR2, UP-CDR3, UP-CDR4). Once approved, the CDR can file claims on a claimant’s behalf — capped at 30% by statute — and is subject to ongoing compliance oversight.
